I’ve been coming to 1st Yard for almost two years now and it’s definitely the best barber experience I’ve had. Everyone there can cut. No need to wait for your guy. Good chat and family friendly. I don’t have kids but I’d bring them here if I did.

My first time at a barbershop, and what a great experience! This place was recommended by Studio 27. It's always a bit risky going to any new shop (especially as I'd never gotten a cut by a barber before and not many are skilled at female cuts), but Omar did a great job at getting the cut style that I wanted! Clean, professional, super friendly, and gave me tips on maintenance - I wouldn't expect less for 30 years of experience! Would definitely recommend! (Should've taken pics at the shop - hope the home photos give a sense of the style)

This family owned barbershop is a great place to get the whole family’s haircut. It’s very easy to book online and each barber performs quality cuts so you can book appointments for your whole family. They also have a unique edge because they open at 6 AM so you can get a fresh cut before work! Mom, dad, and kids can all get their haircut. Highly recommended.

Amazing customer service! I asked if they could replicate my haircut from a photo and they did it flawlessly! Omar even offered to clean my beard up a bit and gave me lots of advice! I will be back for sure

I rarely write reviews, but I truly felt compelled to share how wonderful the team at 1st Yard’s Barber People is. I’ve been bringing my two-year-old son here for a few months now, and every single time, I leave amazed by their patience, kindness, and the genuine care they put into their work. Like many toddlers, my son used to get really anxious about haircuts—crying, squirming, the whole thing. But the barbers here have been incredibly calm and understanding from day one. They never rushed or got frustrated. Instead, they created a space where my son could feel comfortable and safe. And now, he’s doing so much better—and it’s all thanks to them. The quality of the haircuts is fantastic, but it’s really the warmth, care, and consistency of their approach that sets them apart. They truly love what they do, and it shows. If you have a little one and you’re looking for a place where they’ll be treated with patience and heart, this is the place to go.
